The lessons were really well done, straight to the point and easily understood after Alex's explanations. He managed to teach everything I needed to know before the test on such a short notice and I passed. All in all worth it.

Alex (Alexander Brownlee) is a very experienced instructor with true driving and teaching expertise. Alex was a "godsend", very proactive and knowledgeable. He was always punctual and professional. I certainly recommend Alex of the Eye Driving School. I am from Brazil (Vila Velha - Espirito Santo) and can confirm Alex does NOT dislike people from Brazil (and other countries). I read a negative post about xenofobia from a compatriot and want to say Alex is not xenofobic.

Alex (Alexander Brownlee) is a very experienced instructor with true driving and teaching expertise, second to none. Having tried the likes of "BillPlant" to my disappointment, Alex was a "godsend", very proactive and knowledgeable which helped a lot. I was (am) a very experienced driver with over 25 years (overseas license) of driving and still took me about ten lessons to be confident enough to pass my driving test. He was always punctual and professional. I certainly recommend Alex of the Eye Driving School.

Critical: Professionalism Xenophobic instructor. I contacted him and asked about availability for driving lessons. He said just because I'm Brazilian he wouldn't accept me as a student.

Alec is a very straight to the point instructor, very professional and experienced. I had 5 lessons with him as a crash course/ refresher. With this time he taught perfect methods to successfully carry out maneuvers, Alec also took me on a couple of test routes to prepare me for my day. Needless to say I passed my test thanks to his handy tips and confidence he gave me in my driving. If you want to pass the right way then this is the instructor for you. Clear, professional and authentic 10/10

2 weeks before my practical my instructor bailed on me, i called many instructors and told them my situation. Alec was the only instructor out off the 30 instructors i called who were willing to help. I done about 6 hours worth off lessons with him an he taught me more then my other instructor taught me in the past few months. he corrected loads off mistakes i was making that my other instructor never mentioned. he gave me very good techniques to complete my maneuvers correctly. he taught me all situations i could off been put in and even took me too the car park that my exam center takes the students too during your actual exam. thanks to Alec i passed my practical with only 2 minor faults. would definitely recommend.

I had an assessment lesson with Alex and although he is a very knowledgeable instructor with lots of experience, he was patronising in his teaching style. I found it to be an uncomfortable experience given the inappropriate comment he made about the length of my skirt and the generalising statements he made about female drivers and women in general. I would not recommend, especially to female learners.

Alex is a great instructor, very clear methods of how to do things perfectly, especially manoeuvres. He is always on time and available even at short notice and even provides all pupils with a booklet of everything you'll need to remember to pass your test.
