When you have passed your Driving Test, seriously consider taking the Pass Plus Course, it's an additional 6 hours of more advanced tuition and will make you a safer driver, lots of Insurance Companies will offer discounts on your Insurance that often exceed what you paid to do the Pass Plus Course.

From 14 April 2020, the car theory test will include 3 multiple-choice questions based on a short video you'll watch. How the theory test is changing to use video clips instead of written case studies Currently, you have to read a case study and then answer 5 questions about it. This tests your knowledge and understanding of road rules. This will change if you take your test from 14 April 2020. You'll watch one video clip instead of reading a case study, and answer 3 questions about it. Before you can drive on a public road or take your theory test, you will need a valid Provisional Driving Licence.

Unfortuantely, statistics show that new drivers of any age are more likely to have a collission within the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. While this is really just down to a lack of experience insurance premiums merely reflect the increased risk. Your initial driver training should provide you with a varied range of road and traffic conditions, however, this training often takes place on familiar roads around Heckmondwike or other areas we cover, as there are time constraints and lesson objectives to consider.
