Gerry has a calm manner and is a very knowledge teacher. As a parent, I could see progress every lesson and was reassured that he was gaining confidence. I was very happy Gerry took my son for lessons despite being very booked up! I would not hesitate to recommend him and I wouldn’t want anyone else to teach my daughter!

From Our Website

When you look for driving lessons in Whiteinch it's good to look for recommendations from friends or check each driving school's website for reviews from satisfied customers. At Gerry Brennan School of Motoring we take pride in a good regular pass rate which is reflected in the pupils testimonials page and Facebook where successful candidates have their picture taken on their driving test day. We have reduced rates for students, block bookings, free free driving lesson videos and free theory tests.

Finding a driving instructor that provides driving lessons in Clydebank who will help you to pass your driving test first time is important but it is also a good policy to look for one who is recommended and will mould you into a driver who has defensive driving skills inbuilt for life. Going for the cheapest may not be too productive in the long run as you may have to sit your driving test more than once and end up paying more than you expect to. This local Glasgow based driving school has fully qualified driving instructors, manual and automatic cars, good pass rates, free driving lesson videos and free theory tests.

Pupils are required to answer two questions from a series of simple " show me tell me " questions on vehicle safety. One "Tell me" question will be asked at the start of the test and the "Show me" question will be asked as you drive. Check brake fluid level visually using marks on the side of the clear plastic container MAX / MIN. If you see the level as LOW, get the condition of the brake pads checked out by a mechanic. It may be that they need replacing and this could be the reason for the low level reading.

Gerry Brennan has worked in Glasgow for more than twenty years as a fully qualified driving instructor. He has an excellent driving test pass rate, reputation, and a great working knowledge of the driving test centre at Anniesland. He is patient, attentive, reliable and communicates well to all his pupils. He is a former driving examiner trained at Cardington. Driving lessons are tailored to meet the pupil's individual needs. With all the online help through free theory tests and our in car practical training DVD, learning to drive is both a rewarding and fun experience whether its automatic or manual driving lessons.

At Gerry Brennan School of Motoring we like to use our own video clips from "driving lessons Glasgow" uploaded to YouTube to help illustrate situations that will occur when learning to drive in Glasgow. This in addition to regular practice helps the driving instructor to tailor the driving lessons to meet the individual needs of the pupil. Learner drivers can also use the YouTube page to leave comments on the video and get some feedback. These clips originated from Driving Test DVD. With all the online help through our own videos and free online theory tests, learning to drive in Glasgow whether its manual or automatic will become both a rewarding and fun experience.

The UK practical driving test is designed to see if you can drive safely in changeable road and traffic conditions. You should be able to adapt to changing weather conditions and demonstrate your knowledge of the Highway Code by reading road signs and markings correctly and navigating for yourself unaided on the independent part of the test. On the test day you must produce your provisional driving licence, sign your name on the examiners Ipad, and show you can read a car number plate at a distance of 20 metres (for vehicles with new style plates).
