  • I would recommend this business

Matt is an amazing driving instructor. I never thought I would be able to pass my driving test until Matt coached me. Not only is he an amazing coach, but he’s one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. I couldn’t have done it without him and I would recommend him to anybody learning to drive.

  • I would recommend this business

If it wasn't for his patience, good humour and little hints and tips to general driving I don't think I would have come out of the test centre with a pass; especially it being my first attempt too! Matt was my first driving instructor so I truly believe the extra and endless help that he has given me throughout my lessons will serve me well in the many driving years to come.

Customer Testimonials

Finally after 3 attempts I passed my test on the fourth go! Alot of tears and a few moments of "seriously??.why am I still doing this??"...but with Matt's patience, encouragement and his invaluable hints...I did it! I cannot thank him enough! Anyone who thinks they can't do it, you can! Thanks again Matt!

I have been passed nearly 8 months and I wouldn't of been able to pass first time without Matts approach to teaching me how to drive! Even when I had my really blonde moments he would stay calm and tell me to try again. So glad I chose to learn to drive with him!

From Our Website

At ABC we believe that learning to drive should be an enjoyable and positive experience right from lesson one. Our cars are kept in pristine condition and frequently replaced to ensure maximum driving pleasure. With automotive technology advancing year on year it is also helpful to keep up to date with standard industry changes. For example all of our current training cars come with ABS and power steering as standard, and some even have cruise control as standard.

So you want to learn to drive? OK, the first thing you will need to do is to obtain a Provisional Licence. You can apply for the provisional licence when you are 16, but you are not allowed to drive a car on public roads until you are 17. On average, those who pass their test have had 47 hours of professional instruction and 20 hours of private practice. However, this is just an average figure, so the number of hours YOU require could differ greatly to the national average based on your aptitude, attitude and natural ability.

We have helped many people achieve their dream of passing the driving test to gain a full drivers license. Learning to drive is a process that we strive to make as safe, exhilarating and fun as possible. But don't just take our word for it. Take a look what some of our previous pupils had to say about their learning experience with us.

ABC Driver Training offers competitive prices based on the days and times that you are available to take your driving lessons. Due to most people wanting to take their driving lessons after work/school we class this time as Peak Time. If you are able to take your lessons during the daytime then the price is cheaper due to better availability, this is classed as Off Peak time. Stuck for an idea for a birthday present? ABC Driver Training can offer a variety of gift vouchers that can be personally customised.
